A list of resources has been developed to prepare you to reopen your accommodation safely and efficiently. As part of the PEI Public Health order, all businesses in operation will require a COVID-19 operational plan with the policies and procedures that their business has in place.
Allow the cold water to run full flow for 10-15 minutes. Then back off the water to a slow steady stream. Make sure your hands are clean before taking the sample. Fill the sample bottle to the neck or fill line, being careful not to touch the bottle to the tap or to overflow the bottle. Tightly secure the cover on the bottle.
If deficiencies are identified during an inspection, the Standards Advisor will notify the owner and expect the appropriate improvements to be made. If severe or numerous deficiencies are present, a re-inspection will be necessary.
